Meet Dr. Mithia
Dr. Neha Mithia is a dedicated periodontist and implant specialist proudly serving the greater Atlanta area. Originally from Toronto, Canada, she brings a unique combination of scientific training, clinical excellence, and compassionate care to her patients.
Her academic journey began at the University of Toronto, where she earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering, graduating with Honors. Driven by her passion for healthcare and inspired by her father’s career in dentistry, she pursued her dental degree at Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. There, she excelled both academically and personally—serving in student government, participating in community outreach programs, and graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Committed to expanding her skills, Dr. Mithia completed an optional General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in collaboration with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. She then returned home to the greater Toronto area where she practiced as a general dentist and managing partner in her father’s clinic for over three years. During this time, she took on complex restorative cases and collaborated with hospital-based colleagues to transition continued post-surgical care for children and adults with special needs in an outpatient setting.
Her growing passion for surgery inspired her to specialize further, leading her to complete a three-year residency in Periodontology and Implantology at the University of Rochester—ranked the #1 periodontology residency program in the U.S. in 2024 and 2025.
Dr. Mithia is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Osteology Foundation – USA Chapter.
With expertise in the full scope of periodontal care and dental implants, Dr. Mithia is committed to helping her patients achieve health, function, and esthetics using the most advanced techniques available. She strongly believes in integrating oral health into overall health and wellness.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Mithia enjoys spending time outdoors—whether it’s hiking, playing pickleball, or golfing a quick 9-hole. She also appreciates a good glass of red wine, loves Mexican cuisine (especially enchiladas), and cherishes time with family and friends.
